This is not the original Penny board, but it is very similar. The appearance of the deck and wheels look almost identical apart from the Penny logo. However, the performance of the wheels and bearings is not going to be as nice as the actual Penny board. This is a great starter board before you spend the $100+ on an actual Penny board. It would make a great gift for anyone that wants a brand new skateboard of their own, but probably not ideal for an experienced skateboarder.
