Bones Skateboard Wheels 60mm Big Rigs V5 Sidecut STF 99A with Quantum Bearings This package includes 1 set of wheels (4wheels) and 8 bearings. These Bones wheels feature the V5 Sidecut shape. 60mm x 34mm, 99A. Bones Street Tech Formula powers the legendary Bones STF wheels that roll fast, grip when you need to and slide when you want to, without flat spotting. STF gives you more control to skate with confidence. Bones STF wheels outperform all other wheels, and because they wear so well, they last several times longer than normal wheels, making STF wheels the best for less. As part of TJ’s signature bearing development process, we wanted to design a bearing that matches his style – smooth & fluidic while also allowing the bearing to keep this performance under high impact and tough terrain. We believe we have done just that. TJ’s signature bearing features all of the aspects you would expect from a high end, high performance bearing. Where we differentiate is our material science know-how and applying this to correct for the surface level imperfections across all critical contact surfaces. This allows TJ’s bearings to have a very unique smoothness and fast response with the durability required to withstand the abuse he puts on them. Each TJ Rogers's Signature Series Bearing Kit Includes: 8 x metallic Series bearings, 8 x metallic Series bearing shields with micro-ring for easy addition of lube while bearing is in wheel (installed), 8 x speed washers. Wheels are measured by Diameter (Width) and Durometer (Hardness). 50mm to 54mm with a hardness of 99A – 101A is the most common size wheel for street and park skaters, while 55mm to 64mm is typical for bowl and old school skaters. The larger the wheel, the longer the roll. The softer the wheel, the smoother the roll. Softer wheels are great for rough terrain and are also quieter (which is why filmers prefer large, soft wheels). Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference and the type of terrain the skateboard will be ridden on.
