Not so long ago you couldn’t buy a readymade electric longboard. The ones that were available were corded, super heavy and slow. My idea back then was to build my own and make them fast using only the best skate components and proven RC electronics. I built and sold quite a few of them locally out of my friend’s surf shop under the name: “The Devil’s Workshop”. This one is a dual motor design that runs on 2 6s lipo batteries in parallel(lipos not included). *The motors and belts can be easily swapped out and replaced with a single Allen key as this is a modular design. The aluminum brackets and belt drives were cnc machined by Alien Drive in the UK and are fully adjustable and of super high quality. The esc’s are waterproof Castle Creations Mamba Monsters also wired in parallel. You’ll need a hand held radio bound to a receiver to make it function. At the time we used modified RC pistol radios but now there are so many purpose built designs available inexpensively that will plug right in.
