Large-scale photographic print by skateboard photographer Jonathan Rentschler. It is considered by many to be the best representation of what the original LOVE Park design meant to not only skateboarders, but also all citizens of Philadelphia. The true essence of the park is represented within this piece. From active skateboarding, to groups conversing on the ledges, to general park-goers walking about; Jon's eye  catches all the action of that great American plaza (designed and planned by Ed Bacon and Vincent Kling). The skateboarder in active-motion within the right side of the frame is professional skateboarder Ricky Geiger. Jonathan has showcased his photography in multiple galleries and published several photography books. Most notably “LOVE” which was a photographic documentation of the last era of the original LOVE Park design before the city of Philadelphia tore it down for remodeling. Jon was also one of the co-owners of Paradigm Publishing Co. that published books about well known skateboarders Jason Dill and Greg Hunt. This particular print is the largest one Jon has ever produced measuring 20” x 32” and printed on matte paper. It is signed in the lower right and dated the year of the print. It has been professionally matted, glassed, and framed as a work of such significance and size deserves to be protected for a lifetime.
