Ryan McGinness Skateboard Deck 2005 ICONOCLAST Rare Gold White

Hello! This is a very rare Ryan McGinness screenprinted skateboard deck from 2005 issued by Iconoclast Editions. It’s in the gold on white color way (there was also a white/grey version with different vector graphics). It’s ready to hang vertically or horizontally by blocks attached by removable screws through the holes for the trucks. This work was a limited edition - though I don't know the edition size. Measurements: 31” Long 7.75” Wide Approx 2” Deep with hanging hardware Condition: Like New - this deck was displayed years ago, out of direct sunlight, and then carefully stored in a smoke and pet-free home. I’ve tried to describe any appearance notes as thoroughly as possible and have taken detailed photos - please read the following carefully: There are no nicks or scratches. Inherent to the wood are some very small surface variations before it was screenprinted over - these are NOT from scratches or damage. They can only be seen in raking light; when viewed from the front they are nearly invisible (see photos 9 and 10 for detail, #9 shows the same area indicated by the white box when seen at an angle and from the front). Also these boards were hand-screenprinted so naturally there are variations in the paint and areas where the gold application is not 100% opaque. This is more visible when seen at an angle and at a very close range - see photo 5. Overall the gold is opaque, only near the center of the board does it thin a bit in certain areas due to their hand-printed nature.

When the deck is displayed, the following can’t be seen but I wanted to mention it regardless: There are very tiny marks on the surface *underneath* the screw heads that mount the board to the hanging blocks on the back. These marks are very faint and small and are from where the grey/silver metal rubbed against the paint. They can be seen if you look closely around the perimeter of the holes in photo #8 (it’s most noticeable in the area about 2mm left of the hole in the lower right hand corner). If you display the deck as shown, these tiny marks will never be seen as they are hidden by the screw heads.
