It’s the handiwork of Jim Phillips, whose celebrated artwork helped Santa Cruz Skateboards, and other brands from their distributor, NHS, Inc., become internationally recognized. Phillips’ son Jimbo followed in his father’s footsteps in the late ’80s, beginning to produce artwork for NHS and later branching out into music fliers, logos, and surfboard art. The pair’s legacy is well documented and both are still creating art daily.
