The Nike Blazer has a fine tradition of its own, but for this pack, Nike paid tribute to another important piece of history. The legendary Jackie Robinson was honored with three Nike Blazer High models that feature some nods to Jackie and the Brooklyn Dodgers. Three colorways were offered in the pack with solid colored uppers that feature a tonal Brooklyn Dodgers “B” pattern on the side and a Brooklyn tongue label. The most notable attribute of these kicks was a creative shout out to the man himself, using blurred and broken lines around the Swoosh, midsole and heel panel to symbolize the barriers broken by Jackie Robinson. These kicks are not only fresh to look at, but unlike most other sneakers, they have some real meaning behind them. This version is the dark grey colorway.
