Up for auction is a vintage skateboard polaroid. All from the 1970s era, not sure if these are from the Free Former World Professional Championships of 1976, 1977, or 1978. They look to be mostly from the 1977 contests. And some of them are from Signal Hil, Speed run, towards the end of the list. You get ONE photo, you choose which one from the drop down menu. In pictured condition, all of them are in pretty good, with some color fading from age. A ll from the early days of modern skateboarding, these events were an important part of skateboarding history. Lots of new companies and products debuted here at this contest. Brands were made or broken here, Surecraft, Ultra Pro didn't make it. Gullwing, Santa Cruz made it. These contests were where Santa Cruz essentially emerged as a leader, through the exploits of Michael Goldman and John Hutson. And Signal Hill has been billed as the first X games. These all came from Powerflex, Bob Ballou (who ran Powerflex). The edges of the item, where the diagonal color bars meet the vertical and horizontal edges measure inches, roughly. Feel free to ask me any questions you need to know and I will definitely hit you back with my best answer. Good luck, and enjoy!
