59mm x 40mm 80A Road Riders from Bones wheels. All-Terrain Formula (ATF) wheels are poured in a special soft 80A durometer urethane. ATF wheels are excellent for rougher terrain so regardless of road quality, this revolutionary formula will roll you there quickly and smoothly. Super REDS are a superior quality bearing, using higher quality steel races, better quality and grade balls, and a superior surface finish. The result is a bearing that is as fast as REDS but quieter, smoother, and longer lasting. Super REDS use a black shield and laser engraving to differentiate themselves from original REDS. Wheels are measured by Diameter (Width) and Durometer (Hardness). 50mm to 54mm with a hardness of 99A – 101A is the most common size wheel for street and park skaters, while 55mm to 64mm is typical for bowl and old school skaters. The larger the wheel, the longer the roll. The softer the wheel, the smoother the roll. Softer wheels are great for rough terrain and are also quieter (which is why filmers prefer large, soft wheels). Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference and the type of terrain the skateboard will be ridden on.
